Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) refer to infection transmitted through sexual contact, caused by viruses, bacteria or parasites. STDs are major challenge facing the world. . Young adults, specifically college students, may engage in high-risk sexual behaviors, including having multiple sexual partners and performing unprotected sex. Many STDs occur due to limited sexual health knowledge. The assessment of STD awareness among young adults is essential to develop effective strategies for STD education. The present study aimed to assess the knowledge of college students about STDs. The results indicated the need for conducting educational programs among college students to improve their understanding of STDs etiology and prevention.

● Recently, unethical behavior among nurses has generated intense research attention among scholars and concerned stakeholders, especially in Africa.
● The destructive nature of unethical behavior among nurses has a negative implication on the health sector as well as the overall patient wellbeing.
● Role ambiguity and organizational justice have been found to strongly influence unethical behavior among nurses. 
● Interventions should be tailored for these variables to reduce the menace of unethical behavior.
● Generalizability of the study findings to all nurses in Nigeria is impossible.

Nursing is a profession saddled with the responsibility of taking care of and improving patients’ wellbeing. However, some nurses engage in unethical behavior; i.e. possibly destroying the health sector and jeopardizing the integrity of nursing profession. Therefore, the present study investigated the relationship between unethical behavior, role ambiguity, and organizational justice. The study results suggested that role ambiguity and organizational justice are joint variables affecting the unethical behavior of nurses in a developing country, like Nigeria. If these variables are not given adequate attention, people would probably no longer seek care from the hospitals where nurses operate; instead, they might seek other alternate treatments, which could harm their wellbeing.

● Prostate cancer is the second common cancer and the second fatal cancer.
● High prevalence of prostate cancer in middle-aged and old men is unique among other cancers.
● Many undesirable health consequences result from insufficient health literacy.
● Those with lower health literacy are less familiar with health concepts which limits their understanding about the necessity of cancer screening and its advantages.
● Since local cancer can be completely treated, screening in asymptomatic men plays an important role in its early diagnosis and consequently reducing their mortality.

 Annually, more than 670,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer. Long-term side-effects of treatment remain very undesirable effects on the patients' quality of life .The most simple, reliable and inexpensive method for those exposed to risk of diseases is diseases is adopting preventive behaviors. This study discusses, relationship between health literacy with attitude and practice of men toward prostate cancer screening in west of Tehran. Based on the results, health literacy has a positive effect on the attitude and performance of men regarding prostate cancer screening. Accordingly promoting health literacy may lead to a positive attitude toward prostate cancer screening and improve men’s practice.

● There was a significant difference between the total quality of life and its dimensions in different leukemia types. 
● Patients with myeloid leukemia had a better QoL, compared to those with lymphocytic leukemia.
● Patients with leukemia had better performance in the physical area and weaker performance in the social domain.
● There was a significant relationship between the age, residency, and marital status of patients with leukemia and their total quality of life.

The current study assessed the quality of life of patients with different leukemia types in a hospital in Arak City, Iran. Moreover, the total life quality of these patients was at a relatively appropriate level; although it differed in various leukemia types. Therefore, there is a need to consider the leukemia type while providing these patients with biosocial, emotional, and cognitive needs. Generally, these patients had better and poorer performance in physical and social domains, respectively, in terms of life quality. It means that more attention should be paid to the social needs of these patients.

Leukemia is the most prevalent cancer in childhood. Mothers are closer to these children than anyone else and play a vital role in caring for them. The quality of life of mothers impacts the care and support for children with leukemia. The mothers of these children have a low quality of life. The age, educational level and occupational status of the mothers are associated with their life quality. There is a relationship between quality of life of mothers and parents’ income, family collaboration, satisfaction with social status and satisfaction with marital life. It is suggested that nurse managers introduce vulnerable families to support organizations through appropriate planning. Moreover, authorities, by adopting appropriate policies, could increase the general knowledge on marital affairs.

● Adopting TQM is an effective approach in providing high-quality services by both individual and institutional providers.
● A new approach which has been taken into consideration for delivering quality services in hospitals is a called quality maturity.
● To achieve quality maturity, managers should be committed to TQM in a participative organizational environment using the potential collaboration of different parties, including managers, employees, patients, and suppliers.

In Iran, there are limited research studies on quality maturity in healthcare centers; thus, hospital managers can contribute in such scientific area and provide evidence-based data to discover a set of factors which play an essential role in institutionalizing the quality maturity as a managerial necessity. According to the collected results, TQM affects the quality improvement of hospital services; any increase in TQM leads to changes in quality maturity. Furthermore, among the different aspects of quality management system, the greatest impact on quality maturity was related to having a system-wide approach toward management.

Parents play a key role in the management of pain. Furthermore, mothers of infants admitted to NICU are concerned about their infants’ pain. Mothers’ education on the symptoms of infant pain is inadequate. Most of the mothers obtain pain control information from nurses, orally. Stroking or rocking is the most frequent method of pain relief taught by nurses and mothers believe that therapeutic method reduces pain a lot. However, most mothers are satisfied with the received information. Concerning the importance of managing pain in infant, providing mothers with newborns’ pain management, adequate training is needed to educate mothers about pain symptoms to make them more effective in post-discharge care.

Plain Language Summary 
Nursing profession is associated with stressful factors higher than in other professions. These factors include patients’ death, illness, high demands at work, heavy workload, lack of enough knowledge, conflicts and lack of support. Studies have shown that quality of life is affected by many individual, social and environmental factors. This study was designed to determine the relationship between nurses' social health and quality of life. Results showed a significant relationship between their social health and quality of life. This result can be used by healthcare officials to identify the necessary modifiable factors to improve social health and quality of life of nurses.
