This study investigated the association between perfectionism, early maladaptive schemas, attachment styles, and body image concerns through the mediation of self-esteem in cosmetic surgery applicants. The relevant results suggested that the modified model had a good fit and the indirect paths of perfectionism, early maladaptive schema, and attachment styles through self-esteem were also significant.
