Cancer can involve not only the patient but also his or her family as caregivers. The caregiver burden is a subjective experience that is perceived by the caregiver as being extremely stressful. It is also a condition that affects the physical and psychological well-being of caregivers and affects their personal and social relationships. The current study was conducted on mothers of 194 children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia to determine the relationship between the burden of care and life satisfaction of the Turkish mothers of children with cancer. Based on the results, a significant relationship was observed between the average life satisfaction scale scores and the economic status of the mothers. Also, a significant negative relationship was found between life satisfaction and caregiver burden scores. As a result, the health care team and especially pediatric nurses should help the mothers by providing information about support systems and counseling services available in the community to alleviate their stress and increase their life satisfaction.

As mass media influence grows more prominent, it creates more effect on society and its opinion about the health care system. Nurses are affected by mass media as a result of their engagement with the community. Nurses work as the first line of the health care system in society. Our results showed that engagement with national media is associated with a wrong attitude toward nursing and its profession. This poor attitude can lead to less efficacy of health care and even aggressive behavior of patients toward nurses.

● For this purpose, we designed an educational smartphone application for pre-hospital trauma management.
●Our study sample used the application to handle and care for traumatic patients for one month.
● Most nurses were satisfied with the classification of data in the application, and its appropriate information.
● This kind of educational applications facilitates the educational process and helps nursing students.

Nurses have an essential role in caring for patients with trauma, so a suitable method is required for the education of nursing students in this regard. We designed an educational smartphone application for pre-hospital trauma management and asked nursing students to evaluate its usefulness. The educational content of the application was prepared based on the available standard skills required for prehospital trauma management. The study sample first received routine education, and then they used the application to handle and care for traumatic patients for one month. Based on the results, most nurses were satisfied with the classification of data in the application, and the information was appropriate for the patient’s care in trauma situations. In addition, all students reported that the application, its links to web pages, movies, texts, and images were handy. The majority of them used the application consistently and suggested that the same application should be prepared for other courses. Thus, the application was easy to use for trauma management, facilitated the educational process, and helped nursing students.

By participation of staff in the change process, the possible resistance is reduced, and the process of change is accelerated. The readiness of individuals makes them more involved in the change process. We tried to evaluate the preparedness of nurses to use Nursing Kardex by applying the ADKAR Model for change. The study samples were nurses working in educational hospitals in Tehran City, Iran. The results showed relative readiness of the nurses and the efficiency of the ADKAR model to assess their readiness. Thus, we suggest that the nurses should be encouraged to employ Nursing Kardex be increased, especially in non-educational hospitals to increase the participation of nurses.

● The current study aimed to determine the effect of spirituality training on the moral sensitivity of nursing students.
● The obtained results indicated that the moral sensitivity score of nursing students increased after spirituality training.
● Because nursing students are responsible for providing care in their future careers, we recommend that these concepts, especially Islamic ethics and advice be included in their curriculum.

The main goal of the nursing profession is to provide people's health by using scientific methods and observing ethical principles. The current study aimed at determining the effect of spirituality training on the moral sensitivity of nursing students. The intervention group attended six training sessions, once a week. The study data were collected by the Korean version of the Moral Sensitivity Questionnaire (K-MSQ). The obtained results indicated that the moral sensitivity score of nursing students increased after spirituality training. Because nursing students are responsible for providing patients’ care in their future careers, including these concepts, especially Islamic ethical principles and advice in their curriculum is recommended.

Patients received the highest knowledge after TKP surgery in the financial dimension and the lowest knowledge in the ethical dimension. It means they needed more training. Nursing managers and nursing staff can help to improve the level of knowledge in such patients by planning and executing regular educational programs and consequently providing the opportunities to improve self-care in the patients.

Because of the many problems that occur for the elderly with chronic illnesses, they need higher resilience to overcome their disease. Resilience can lead to positive health outcomes in these people. We investigated the concept of resilience on the perception of chronic disease in a group of older adults. After analyzing the collected data, we found that achieving spiritual transcendence, creating peace and balance, and overcoming the disease are outcomes of resilience in these people.
